How to prepare for your Gallery appointment
From bricks to tapware, paint, tiles, handles and everything in between, there’s a lot to wrap your head around during your Gallery appointment. Which is why, preparing ahead of time and gathering inspiration is key to making the whole journey enjoyable and stress-free.
To help prepare for your appointment, have a read through the following three key points:
What's your style
Think about your selections
What to expect at your appointment
At Gallery you'll get to explore fully constructed kitchens, bathrooms, wardrobes and more. You'll also find a wide array of bricks, flooring options, tiles, bathroom fittings and fixtures, lighting fixtures, window treatments, and paint colours to peruse at your leisure.
Firstly, what's your style?
While it can be hard to put a name to your personal interior style, it’s often easier to recognise it when you see it. Take some time to explore your favourite design trends and see which styles resonate with the way that you like to live. Visit our displays in person or virtually and read through our Japandi, Hamptons, Rustic, Mid Century Modern & Organic guides for more inspiration.
How to prepare:
Begin with some inspiration.
Our designers love nothing more than looking at your inspiration - here's some easy ways to show them:
Save your favourite images on Instagram
Create a Pinterest board with all of your inspiration
Write down your favorite display homes and take pictures. You can take virtual tours here
Or, you can even create a scrapbook.
Then, write down answers following questions:
Who will be living in the home?
What’s the most important room, area, or aspect?
How do you want your home to feel?
What areas of the home do you want to feature?
Have you thought about the placement of furniture?
Your answers will provide valuable insight for our Gallery Interior Designers to assist you in making informed styling decisions.
